Eligibility Criteria for 158 PMA Long Course
To qualify for this course at PMA Kakul, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum 55% marks in Intermediate (FA/FSc). Graduates with 50% marks in certain categories are also eligible.
- Age Limit:
- 17 to 22 years for Intermediate students and up to 24 years for Graduates. Serving soldiers have an age relaxation up to 25 years.
- Physical Standards:
- Minimum height must be 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm) with a fit body mass index (BMI).
- Nationality:
- Only male citizens of Pakistan are eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure
The selection process is merit-based and consists of several stages:
- Initial Test: Verbal, Non-Verbal, and Academic questions.
- Physical Test: Running, push-ups, and other physical drills.
- Medical Exam: Initial checkup at the recruitment center.
- ISSB: A 5-day evaluation at the Inter Services Selection Board.
